Long awaited news has finally confirmed that the Xbox One is finally providing the support of Keyboard and Mouse. The game developers will be able to choose to support Keyboard and mouse or not. Microsoft announced in June 2016, that the Xbox One would be providing a full support to the keyboard and mouse. But we were unable to receive any updates from the company regarding this.
Microsoft revealed the news on 25 Dec 2018 in their blog post that preliminary version of the feature will be available in coming weeks. The company focuses on its users about in what they play, who they play with and how they play. Microsoft has always amazed its customers with its products. The series of Xbox is the most loved gaming platform that Microsoft has provided to its customers.
To enjoy the best you have to provide the best. Microsoft noted there is a much wider availability of the keyboard and mouse setup than controllers. So to provide the best quality and best possible experience, Microsoft collaborated with Razer to manufacture the keywords and mouse. The company added that players will likely be able to use “most” setups, though it’s sure to push the Razer gear hard.
Though the Microsoft will be providing the support of keyboard and mouse with their 10t edition of inside Xbox. But this feature will only for the game developers. It would be the choice of the game developer to let the game supports the functionality of keyboard and mouse or not. Microsoft added that
“With this new input support at the platform level, developers can now build mouse and keyboard support in their games if and how they choose. It’s important to note that mouse and keyboard support for games is added on a title-by-title basis, entirely at developers’ discretion. For all other titles, nothing changes. Mouse and keyboard input is not enabled by default for games. Each development team knows their titles best and we support them in creating the right experience for their games as they see fit, to ensure an optimal and fair gaming experience. Warframe will be one of the first titles testing mouse and keyboard input when the feature arrives to Insider in the coming weeks.”

Either this will completely ruin the console experience or will enhance it, this is yet to find out. According to the blog post, more details will be coming in the November 10th edition of Inside Xbox.
